Balancing Workload
08.11.2021
A client this week wanted to spend time on balancing his workload
We used a technique that I developed, based on the ‘wheel of life’.
The client identified eight important work areas, based on his objectives, skills and results. He estimated his time in each area and realised from the schematic that he was spending a lot time in two areas and hardly any in the other six. He looked confused and then told me that he thought that he had become a bit obsessed with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and revenue generation, that he was, in particular, neglecting people development and new relationships.
After consideration, he realised that spending his time in a more balanced way would probably help to reduce his anxiety and the constant feeling of being overwhelmed.
Big love,
Pam.
